IR, Inc., an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-owned company, is seeking a talented IT Consultant to join our growing team on Joint Base Andrews. With offices across the United States, IR focuses on consulting on DoD contracts, providing IT and Audit solutions.


 

IR, Inc. is seeking an IT Consultant interested in supporting a quality assurance work stream by manipulating large data sets. This IT Consultant will be working with a highly technical team to perform tasks based on client needs and assist other audit readiness leadership with validating, importing, cleaning, merging, and manipulating large data sets using ACL or SAS. Particular focus is placed on past experience with DoD Audit Readiness as well as strong experience manipulating data sets.

 

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.  

Candidate must have experience with the following: SAS, ACL, Data Management, Data Manipulation, complex problem solving skills, ability to operate with a high degree of professional skepticism, and familiarity with FIAR methodology.

 

Experience working with audit procedures, the FIAR Methodology and Assessable Unit (AU) Structures. Universe of Transactions (UOT) is a data focused effort; however all transactional data generated by the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) is done so within the context of an AU process they may or may not support a UOT.

 

Experience working with interface controls between IT systems, developing compensating controls, and design or redesign/test existing reconciliation processes to develop a population of transactional data used for sample testing. 

 

Must have extensive experience coding with tools like SAS/R/Python. 

 

Experience working with AFMC/FM, AFMC/A4, DFAS, and HAF/A4

The position requires a self-disciplined individual with good people skills, writing skills, and strong technical interests/capabilities.  

 

Additional Qualifications 

Strong, client-facing, communication skills will be required. This person will serve as an advisor directly to the client.

 

Security Requirements 

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
